Professor Argentieri Interviewed on Hungarian Political Situation

Professor Argentieri, a renowned expert on Eastern Europe and director of the Guarini Institute for Public Affairs, was interviewed by several media on the new Hungarian constitution, which became effective on January 1st. Argentieri also commented on the severe economic crisis affecting the country, which is causing domestic unrest and a dramatic tug-of-war with the International Monetary Fund and the European Union.

Professor Argentieri appeared on Sky TG 24 and spoke on all three channels of Italian national radio RAI. In addition, his comments were published by the daily newspaper Europa (click here to read – article in Italian) and weekly magazine Il Punto, and he was also interviewed for a feature in Linkiesta.it (click here to read – article in Italian)

This semester Professor Argentieri is scheduled to teach, among others, PL 355 – East European Politics and Societies.
