Professor Vanda Wilcox Interviewed on Football and Corruption in Italy

History professor Vanda Wilcox was recently interviewed by Italy’s new English-language news site, The Local, about football and corruption.

Professor Wilcox’s research and teaching interests cover 19th and 20th century Italian and European History, especially military history and the cultural history of war, and the memory and commemoration of the two World Wars. She is currently working on Italian patriotism and national identity in the First World War. She also works as a freelance journalist writing on Italian football.

In Fall 2013, Professor Wilcox will be teaching Modern Europe and the Age of Imperialism, and European Imperialism and the Great Wars.
