President Franco Pavoncello Lectures at Marquette and Michigan State

John Cabot University President Franco Pavoncello recently gave the lecture “A Third Republic?: Italian Politics Between Promise and Populism” at Michigan State and Marquette Universities.

On March 26th, President Pavoncello was a guest of Marquette University’s Office of International Education.

On March 28th the President was a guest of Michigan State University’s Department of Political Science (College of Social Science), in collaboration with James Madison College, the Center for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies, and the Office of Study Abroad.

A leading analyst of Italian politics, Dr. Pavoncello’s work has appeared in, among others, the American Political Science Review, the British Journal of Political Science, Asian Studies, and World Affairs. He is also a well-known media commentator on Italian affairs, a contributor to major international newspapers such as the New York Times and the International Herald Tribune, and he appears regularly on radio and television networks including CNN, BBC, Reuters Press and TV, and many other media organizations.
