The summer 2014 courses will focus on environment and protection from discrimination based on sexual orientation. The international community has shown particular commitment to these two areas in recent years. During the intensive one-week courses, post-graduate students and young professionals will interact with academics, international experts and practitioners in a stimulating learning environment, where traditional lectures are complemented by group works, case studies, role-plays and discussion of real scenarios.

The faculty of the summer schools is composed of leading scholars and academics from John Cabot and other universities, representatives of the United Nations system, international human rights bodies, and civil society.

The summer schools also represent an invaluable opportunity to enhance participants’ professional networks. Upon completion of each course, UNICRI and John Cabot University will award a certificate of participation.
