AP Art History teachers are invited to John Cabot University’s campus in the heart of Rome for a unique AP* Summer Institute. With Rome as the backdrop, participants will:

• Explore Rome’s art and architecture with JCU Art History faculty and private tour guides
• Participate in lessons and activities centered on the redesigned AP* Art History course
• Visit many of Rome’s 17 artworks which are in the new AP* Art History Curriculum Framework

• Collaborate with peers to prepare classroom material
• Present a mini-lesson incorporating the Big Ideas and Learning Objectives from the course
• Become familiar with texts and electronic teacher resources available for the new course

The JCU APSI accepts AP Redesign, AP Fellows, and AP Rural Fellows scholarships.

Tuition: $1,900, per participant, includes class instruction, CollegeBoard workshop materials, 6 nights of accommodation, bus transportation in Rome, daily breakfast, welcome cocktail reception, farewell lunch, museum entries, guided tours, and guest lectures. A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 must be paid to reserve your place in the program.
