The event was covered by RAI, Italy’s public broadcasting company, which shot a report for TG3 – Fuori TG news program. The RAI journalists interviewed JCU President Franco Pavoncello about the importance of an international education. President Pavoncello underlined the shift from the concept of academic knowledge to that of know-how in today’s globalized society.

RAI interviewed representatives from Croce Rossa Italiana, Pedius, a startup in the innovation technology industry, and Poema, a consulting firm. To conclude, the RAI crew interviewed JCU students and graduates, who described the Career Fair as a bridge between their academic and professional careers.

As part of the Career Services Alumni Network, the university was pleased to welcome JCU graduates, who once participated in the event as candidates, now in the role of business representatives. Professor Antonella Salvatore, Director of the Center for Career Services and Continuing Education, pointed out that 8 out of 10 candidates get an internship or a job offer during the Career Fair.
