President Franco Pavoncello Invited to be Part of Italy's ANVUR

John Cabot University President Franco Pavoncello has recently been invited to be part of the Ethics Committee of ANVUR, Italy’s prestigious State-run National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes.

President Pavoncello was given this honor after the Board of Directors of ANVUR decided that the Ethics Committee should include three external members, including a member to represent non-Italian universities in Italy. Other external members of the Ethics Committee are Prof. Luciano Maiani, past President of INFN (Italian Institute for Nuclear Physics), CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research), and the CNR (Italy’s National Research Council), and Dr. Marco Tommasi, former Director General of the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research.
