John Cabot University Welcomes Fall 2013 Students!
The John Cabot University community is pleased to welcome students to the 2013 Fall semester.
Students who hail from all across the USA and from 22 countries around the world were welcomed at the Hilton Airport Hotel on Tuesday, August 27th and Wednesday, August 28th by JCU staff, Orientation Leaders and Skippers. After receiving their housing assignments, students were accompanied to their accommodations.
During the five-day Orientation, students participate in sessions designed to acquaint them with the University and the Eternal City. During Navigation 101, Skippers take groups of students on a small tour of Rome. On this tour, students will see and learn a lot, including: how to buy a metro/bus ticket, find their closest pharmacy and supermarket and discover the quickest route to Rome’s main train station, Termini.
In order to enhance students’ Fall semester experience, the Office of Student Services has prepared a wide variety of activities including Italian cooking classes, tours in Rome, and weekend trips to Emilia Romagna, Tuscany and Campania! Students will also be able to enjoy a variety of exercise classes at the Fitness Center located in the Gianicolo Residence.
JCU staff and Orientation Leaders and Skippers are looking forward to meeting everyone!
