Professor Lars Rensmann Presents at 2014 WPSA Meeting in Seattle

JCU Professor of Political Science and International Affairs Lars Rensmann presented his recent scholarly work on global politics and the global public sphere at the 2014 Western Political Science Association Meeting. The conference took place from April 17th to 19th in Seattle, Washington.

Prof. Rensmann’s shared his paper, “Adorno and the Global Public Sphere: Rethinking Global Power and the Cosmopolitan Condition of Politics,” and served as a Chair at a panel on political sovereignty. His paper analyzes the changing conditions of global publicity and relations among sovereign states in our contemporary world.
