Diplomacy in Action: JCU Students Participate in Ukraine Crisis Simulation

Ukraine Crisis Simulation

Ukraine Crisis Simulation

Students in Professor Rimanelli’s International Diplomacy and the United Nations course took part in an interactive simulation of the Ukraine Crisis. The students simulated the roles of Russia, the Ukraine, the EU, NATO, and the UN as part of learning about the on-going crisis and the role of diplomacy. Participants were able to witness firsthand the difficult, intense role diplomacy plays during times of international crisis.

Professor Rimanelli is Fulbright-Schuman Chair 2013-14 and Professor of U.S.-E.U.-NATO Security at Saint Leo University in Florida. He taught International Diplomacy and the United Nations during Summer Session I at John Cabot University.
