Lawrence Lessig is an American academic, attorney, political activist, and founder of the non-profit organization Creative Commons, which is devoted to expanding the range of creative works available for others to build upon legally and to share.  The Department of Communications and the Office of the President invited Professor Lessig to give a talk at JCU on the current state of the internet, its problems and its future developments on March 21, 2019.

Her works, such as “The Origins of Totalitarianism” (1951), “The Human Condition” (1958), and “On Revolution” (1963) undoubtedly attest to the uniqueness of her understanding of politics.
