"Italian Students Enrollment at JCU Has Increased 40%" - La Repubblica
The Rome section of Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica featured a brief article about John Cabot University on September 21st, noting that the number of Italian students enrolled has increased 40% this year.
Evidently, according to the article, the number of students in Italy’s capital who wish to earn an international degree is growing. Out of a total of about 500 degree seeking students currently at JCU, 30% are in fact Italian.
JCU President Franco Pavoncello is quoted as saying “We have registered 25% more Italian students in the last 4 years.The young people who come to us are looking for personal attention and high quality teaching.” The President also explained that many students transfer from Italian public and private universities and that JCU awards 2.5 million Euros in scholarships each year.
