Maria Bondar, class of 2018, graduated with a degree in Communications and a minor in Psychology. Hailing from Ukraine, she completed an internship at the JCU Web Communications Office through the Career Services Center.

JCU as a Family Tradition: Economics and Finance Student Omar Attiya

Omar Attiya, class of 2018, graduated with a double degree in Economics and Finance and in Marketing. Born and raised in Kuwait, he is the fourth member of his family to graduate from JCU, following his two older brothers and mother. While at JCU, he worked as a Student Assistant at the IT Office and as a representative for the Admissions Office.

Keeping Up with Digital Transformation: Alumna Giorgia Conte

An International Business major, Giorgia Conte graduated magna cum laude from John Cabot University in December 2016, and currently works as a Junior Marketing Assistant at uFirst. While at JCU, she was a member of Ipazia and Business Club. Recently Giorgia was invited by the Institute for Entrepreneurship for a presentation on digital marketing strategies.

La Sinfonia di Emery: A Novel by Ludovico Crisanti Cucchiella

Ludovico Crisanti Cucchiella was born in Rome. He graduated from LUISS before taking Advanced Creative Writing Workshop: Fiction in Summer 2016 with Professor Michael Carroll at JCU. Ludovico recently published his first book La Sinfonia di Emery with Gangemi Editore.

Alumnus Romano Campione, class of 1993, is a Business Administration major of British and Italian descent. He is an active member of the JCU alumni network and has helped organize alumni events in London where he currently resides. Romano started his career with the help of Career Services and he is now the Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing at Starhotels.

On Friday, November 10, the JCU Center for Career Services hosted the second Career Fair of the Fall 2017 Semester. Over 70 company representatives from the university’s 500+ partner organizations participated in the event to offer jobs, internships, and career advising.

The Art of Cooking: JCU Alumna Brooke Parkhurst

Brooke Parkhurst is a JCU study abroad alumna from Pensacola, Florida. She attended Davidson College in North Carolina and during her junior year (2000-2001), she studied for two semesters at John Cabot University. Brooke is a chef, food writer, and cooking instructor.

Political Science and International Affairs Departmental Reception

On Tuesday, November 7, the JCU Department of Political Science and International Affairs hosted its first Departmental Reception. Professors Bridget Welsh and Michael Driessen welcomed alumni, current students, and fellow-instructors in the Aula Magna to help them reconnect and socialize.
