JCU Professors' Translation of "A Coney Island of the Mind" Reviewed

American poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti’s collection A Coney Island of the Mind, with a translation by John Cabot University Creative Writing Institute Faculty members Moira Egan and Damiano Abeni, has received a glowing review in Italian newspaper Il Fatto Quotidiano.

Ferlinghetti’s seminal 1958 collection of poems, considered among the most important works of American poetry of the past century, has recently been re-released in Italy, with a new translation by JCU Professor of English Moira Egan and MD and epidemiologist Damiano Abeni, who has been translating American poetry since 1973.
