JCU Welcomes Students From Latvia, Georgia, Belarus, Ukraine, and Russia
On Tuesday, September 20th, 24 Russian-speaking students enjoyed an evening with JCU’s Vice-President Andrea Giummarra (also a Russian speaker!) on the Secchia Terrace. The event brought together students from Latvia, Georgia, Belarus, Ukraine, and Russia and included JCU degree students as well as students from the State University of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation. According to Vice-President Giummarra, who has been instrumental in bringing students from the Russian-speaking countries to JCU, “It is truly a great experience to be with a community of students who have such varied backgrounds but are bound together by a common quest for learning and studying in this beautiful University and city of Rome.”
