Professor Lars Rensmann Discusses Global Cultural Diplomacy
On Friday, March 1, JCU Political Science and International Affairs Professor Lars Rensmann joined a live broadcast discussion on CBC’s Radio One morning show “The Current.” The Current is Canada’s number one interview radio show with 2.6 million listeners. It was also broadcasted in the U.S. on Sirius radio.
In light of former NBA-star Dennis Rodman’s visit to North Korea, Professor Rensmann discussed the significance of global cultural and political diplomacy, and the impact of sports on global politics, with Professor Charles Armstrong. Professor Armstrong is The Korea Foundation Professor of Korean Studies in the Social Sciences in the Department of History, and the Director of the Center for Korean Research at Columbia University.
