Professor Ada Bertini Presents Paper at AATI Conference in Strasbourg
Professor Ada Bertini, who teaches Italian language at JCU, will present a paper at the 2013 Conference of the American Association of Teachers of Italian (AATI), which is taking place in Strasbourg (France) from May 30th to June 2nd.
The title of Professor Bertini’s paper is “L’importanza di un inserimento più strutturato dell’insegnamento della fonetica nelle classi universitarie americane: efficacia e limiti delle nuove tecnologie” (The importance of a more structured teaching of phonetics in American university classrooms: effectiveness and limits of new technologies).
The American Association of Teachers of Italian was founded in 1924 to promote the study of Italian language, literature, and culture in schools, colleges and universities in North America. It has approximately 1500 members worldwide. AATI is dedicated to excellence in teaching and research in all areas of Italian studies.
