Professor Harris Gives Keynote Speech at Cornell Conference

JCU Head Librarian Elisabetta Morani and Professor of Law and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs Pamela Harris participated in The Cornell Internet Culture Law and Policy conference held on September 18-20, at Cornell University, in Ithaca New York.

The Cornell Internet Culture Law and Policy conference brought together university general counsel, librarians, technology and security officers from all over the U.S. to discuss data privacy and security, copyright and access to technology in higher education.

Professor Harris gave a keynote speech on Privacy, Dignity, and Speech: Protecting Freedom in the Digital Age. Elisabetta Morani participated in a panel on protecting the privacy of library users in higher education.
