On October 30th, John Cabot University President Franco Pavoncello had the honor and pleasure of welcoming the new US Ambassador to Italy, John R. Phillips and his wife, Ms. Linda Douglass for a lunch on the Secchia Terrace of the JCU Guarini Campus.

The Ambassador was accompanied by US Embassy officials Elizabeth McKay, Minister Counselor for Public Affairs and Nicholas J. Giacobbe, Cultural Attaché. Also present were Trustees Hon. Frederick Vreeland and Dr. Portia Prebys, VP and Dean of Academic Affairs, Mary Merva, and Ms. Jacqueline Falk Maggi, Assistant to the President for Special Projects and Events.
