Theater Society's First Production, Some...Noises Off a Great Success
On March 12th the JCU Theater Society performed their inaugural production, “Some…Noises Off,” an adaptation of the acclaimed comedy by Michael Frayn.
Frayn’s play, “Noises Off,” is a meta-theatrical work about a small company of bad actors who are rehearsing for a show. The secretary of the Theater Society Federica Brizzi adapted the script from the first act of the original play. The president of the Theater Society Sofia Martuscelli directed and treasurer Menna Mohammed managed costumes, sets, and props.
The cast was composed of JCU degree-seeking students Samantha Abear, Federica Brizzi, Antonia Di Nucci, Matteo Franzese, Sofia Martuscelli, Mateo Proietti and Corinna Rombi. They performed in the Aula Magna Regina in front of an enthusiastic audience.
We look forward to seeing more great things from JCU Theater Society.
