Students Demonstrate Rhetorical Strength at Elevator Pitch Competition

On Monday, April 7th in the Aula Magna, nine students presented their 90-second pitches in front of a challenging jury in the Elevator Pitch Competition. The judges were Professor Silvia Pulino, head of the JCU Institute for Entrepreneurship, Dr. William Cavendish, Founder, President and CEO of Life Sciences Capital Spa and Healthcap Srl, and Riccardo Mattioli, John Cabot Alumnus and Founder and CEO of Kanito.

The competitors, who were selected from a large pool of candidates, were divided into three groups based on the content of their pitches. Competitors in the personal pitch category were Roque Villegas, Giorgia Coccia, and Giacomo Sproccati. Social pitch competitors were Alessandro Petrucci, Asia Colombo, and Sabina Motzo. Business pitches were presented by Edoardo Braccini, Oishik Rahman, and Zach Easton.

Social Pitch: Alessandro Petrucci
Business Pitch: Oishik Rahman
