John Cabot University Welcomes the Largest Entering Class in History

President Franco Pavoncello, Vice President and Dean Mary Merva and the entire JCU community extend a warm welcome to this fall’s entering class.

The nearly 200-member class of 2018 is one of the most diverse to date, with students hailing from 36 countries, 12 U.S. States and all across Italy.

John Cabot University’s entering class represents: Albania, Armenia, Austria, Bahrain, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, China, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Georgia, Germany, Ghana, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Korea, Latvia, Libya, Madagascar, Montenegro, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, USA, and Zambia.

The 12 U.S. States include: California, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania and Texas.

President Pavoncello warmly welcomed the the newest members of the JCU community and commended them for their sense of adventure and passion for learning.

Director of Enrollment Danette Anderson said, “John Cabot students represent all corners of the globe, making our small, liberal arts university a center of diversity and academic excellence in the Mediterranean region.”
