Professor Belényesi Participates in Prestigious Law Conference in Naples

Professor Belényesi with the other scholars invited to University of Naples Federico II

Professor Belényesi was invited to participate in a prestigious conference at the University of Naples Federico II. He shared a panel with the Italy’s top legal scholars from La Sapienza, Roma III, LUISS and the University of Naples. The panel discussed the themes of liberalization, privatization, as well as their recent trends.

Prof. Belényesi emphasized the need for a sustainable, economics-based approach to market interventions, and the outright necessity to depart from conventional positivist approaches to sector politics when market failures appear. He also acquainted the audience with the recent example of the Hungarian sector reform.
