BAIA and John Cabot University Bring Best Entrepreneurial Practices to Italy
On Thursday, October 1, John Cabot University was pleased to host the Business Association Italy America (BAIA), for a collaboration workshop with Professor Silvia Pulino‘s Introduction to Entrepreneurship class. BAIA is a business network created for entrepreneurs operating between Italy and the US.
In order to further the students’ understanding of start-ups and the process of developing business ideas, the companies, which all come from the Premio Best Practices per l’Innovazione (“Best Practices for Innovation Award”), were given half an hour create a one-minute pitch in English with their student teams.
“It was an interesting experience. We got to work with CEOs and representatives of real businesses,” commented senior Communications student Eleonora Biondo.
BAIA’s Flavio Notari saw great benefit in the experience for all involved: “This is an opportunity for students to be in contact with enterprises. This interaction could potentially lead to future opportunities for these students.”
BAIA will return to John Cabot in November for another workshop with entrepreneurship students.
