JCU President Franco Pavoncello Takes Part in Festival of Diplomacy Event in Rome
On October 28 at 3:00 pm, John Cabot University President Franco Pavoncello will take part in a discussion entitled “Leadership e merito: per uno sviluppo sostenibile” (Leadership and Merit in Sustainable Development) organized by the Festival della Diplomazia (Festival of Diplomacy) in Rome.
The Festival of Diplomacy, held annually in Rome since 2009, represents an opportunity to discuss politics and international relations during round tables, conferences, and seminars led by political scientists, journalists, and other experts. This year’s theme is “Inclusive Growth, Inequality, and Political Imbalance.”
The event will be held in Italian.
A leading analyst of Italian politics, Dr. Pavoncello’s work has appeared in, among others, the American Political Science Review, the British Journal of Political Science, Asian Studies, and World Affairs. He is also a well-known media commentator on Italian affairs, a contributor to major international newspapers such as the New York Times and the International Herald Tribune, and he appears regularly on radio and television networks including CNN, BBC, Reuters Press and TV, and many other media organizations. Dr. Pavoncello was recently reconfirmed as President of JCU until 2019.
