JCU Institute for Entrepreneurship Welcomes Founders of Mr. Guide
On Thursday March 24th, the JCU institute for Entrepreneurship, in collaboration with Professor Riccardo Maiolini‘s BUS 410 Strategic Decisions in Entrepreneurship class, welcomed the founders of Mr. Guide for a guest lecture. With an audience of future business representatives and entrepreneurs, the team had the goal of familiarizing students with the trials and tribulations of the start-up world.
Operating through both website and app formats, Mr. Guide is a brokerage service for tourists and licensed tour guides which simplifies and digitizes the process of booking a guided tour. The platform allows users choose between different guides based on their self-managed profiles.
Mr. Guide is the work of three young Roman entrepreneurs striving to revolutionize the world of guided visits to museums and monuments. Federico Palmieri, Fabio Adago, and Mattia Cacciafesta are all animated by a passion for technology and love for the Eternal City. The service currently operates solely in Rome, yet with plans to expand in the rest of Italy and Europe.
The team provided great insights into executing business plans and market research, with useful case studies from their own experience working to realize and develop Mr. Guide.
