Spring 2017 Career Fair Hosts 9 JCU Alumni as Business Representatives

On Friday, April 21, John Cabot University’s Center for Career Services hosted one of its biggest Career Fairs ever, welcoming 65 company representatives who interviewed over 120 interested students and graduates.
This was the first Career Fair to welcome back nine JCU alumni as business representatives from organizations including Panta Ray, Casa Scalabrini 634, RE/MAX, DayBreak Hotels, RoccoForte Hotels, Le Tele di Penelope, and YourCFO Consulting Group, contributing to enhance the services John Cabot University offers through its Alumni Career Network.

“The Career Fair has always represented an extremely useful opportunity for both students and alumni to build their professional paths,” says Professor Antonella Salvatore, Director of the Center for Career Services.
Career Fairs give candidates the chance to begin to define their future careers, exercise their interviewing skills, and gain valuable work experience with various companies and organizations. To better prepare the students and graduates who participate, the Center for Career Services provides Seminars and Events during the week of the Career Fair, focusing on revising the participants’ resumes, cover letters, and social network profiles, as well as improving their interviewing and presentation skills.
Some of the participating companies and organizations for this Spring 2017 Career Fair were: Active Citizenship Network, CRM Partners, Croce Rossa Italiana, Dorchester Collection, Engel and Völkers, FOCSIV, GA&A Productions, HR Community Academy, Idea Lavoro, ItalRevi S.p.A., Randstad, VueTel Italia.
