John Cabot University Launches Digital Diplomas

Starting with the Spring 2020 graduating class, John Cabot University has teamed up with Parchment, a digital credentials service, to offer a digital version of the JCU diploma. Graduates can now easily share their accomplishments with family, friends, and most importantly, potential employers in a way that is secure, efficient, and verifiable.

Upon completion of the degree, JCU graduates will receive an email to electronically ‘”claim” their diploma by following these 3 simple steps:

1. Click on the link in the email from Parchment and John Cabot University;
2. Create a password;
3. Download a secure PDF or share the digital diploma via a verified link.

Says John Cabot University Registrar Carmen Scarpati, “In times of crisis, institutions need to reach out of their comfort zone to innovate and improve past practices.  The digital diplomas issued through Parchment have made it possible for the Office of the Registrar to provide a faster and improved diploma delivery service given the restrictions imposed by COVID-19.”
