John Cabot University Now Accepting Duolingo Test Results for English Proficiency

John Cabot University’s Admissions Office is happy to announce that we are now accepting Duolingo! The Duolingo English Test is a convenient and affordable English proficiency test that can be taken online, on demand, anywhere in the world.

JCU Now Accepting Duolingo Test Results

During these unprecedented times, the JCU Admissions Office has been dedicated to facilitating the admissions process for students who are facing challenges in accessing traditional, standardized testing. Now, non-native English speakers who wish to apply to John Cabot can do so with a Duolingo test score.

All Duolingo exam scores will be reviewed by the JCU English Department and Admissions Committee to determine the applicant’s English proficiency level.

If applicants do not meet JCU’s English proficiency requirement, JCU offers English Language for University Studies (ENLUS),  an intensive language program to help prepare students for university-level English. In Spring 2021, ENLUS II will also be offered entirely online, allowing students from all over the world to learn English.

Sign up today to take your Duolingo English Proficiency Test and apply to John Cabot University for Fall 2021 before our upcoming application deadlines on November 15 (for Early Action) and March 1st (for Regular Decision). The registration fee for the Duolingo English Test is $49, and students can get started by visiting englishtest.duolingo.com/applicants.
