Frank J. Guarini School of Business Receives Accreditation from AACSB
John Cabot University is proud to announce that the Frank J. Guarini School of Business has received accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), thus placing it among the world’s leading business schools.
The fundamental purpose of AACSB accreditation is to challenge business educators to pursue excellence and continuous improvement in their business programs. John Cabot is one of fewer than 6% of business schools worldwide, and the first American overseas university in Europe to have earned this prestigious accreditation.
“We are very proud to have received AACSB accreditation, a significant milestone as we approach our fiftieth anniversary as an American overseas liberal arts university in the heart of Rome. We are now ideally placed to educate a new generation of business leaders,” commented JCU President Franco Pavoncello.
Established in 1916, AACSB International (AACSB) is the world’s largest business education alliance, connecting educators, learners, and business to create the next generation of great leaders. With a presence in more than 100 countries and territories, AACSB fosters engagement, accelerates innovation, and amplifies impact in business education.
Directed by Professor Silvia Carnini Pulino, the School of Business was created thanks to a generous donation by the Hon. Frank J. Guarini, Chairman Emeritus of the JCU Board of Trustees. The mission of the school is to provide excellence in business education that capitalizes on the University’s liberal arts tradition and international environment to build an ecosystem of ethical, compassionate, and innovative business leaders who are prepared to engage in an interconnected, complex world.
The Frank J. Guarini School of Business achieves its mission by supporting and developing synergies among the dedicated missions of the Department of Business Administration, the Institute for Entrepreneurship, and the Center for Continuing and Professional Education.
