John Cabot University Welcomes Record Number of Students for Fall 2024
The John Cabot University community kicked off Fall 2024 by welcoming over 1000 new students to its urban campus in the historic center of Rome.
For the first time, new students come from all 50 US States and 57 countries. These new students join our returning students to make the total Fall 2024 enrollment about 1900, making John Cabot University one of the largest American universities in Europe.
During the week-long orientation, students participated in information sessions designed to introduce them to the University, as well as guided tours of the Eternal City. They also had the chance to register for trips and activities and sign up for clubs and organizations, community service opportunities, and athletics.
The JCU student body includes first-time freshmen, transfer students, and freshmen abroad, as well as study abroad students and gap year students.
Our new Center for Graduate Studies welcomed the inaugural class of the MA in International Affairs, which like our MA in Art History, is designed to take advantage of our unique location in Rome and the city’s intellectually vibrant past and present.
The top US States represented in the student body are California, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Illinois, Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.
Diversity and multiculturalism are at the heart of the JCU experience and new incoming students hail from all corners of the world, including Albania, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cote D’Ivoire, Denmark, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, France, Georgia, Germany, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Lithuania, Mexico, Monaco, Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, Northern Mariana Islands, Norway, Pakistan, Panama, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and Zambia.
