What is Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement celebrated annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. This year, it falls on Tuesday, December 3. The day inspires people and organizations worldwide to come together to make a difference by giving back. Whether through donations, acts of kindness, or volunteer efforts, Giving Tuesday empowers individuals to transform their communities and the world.

How You Can Help
By donating to the Annual Fund through our Giving Tuesday campaign, you will be making a direct impact on the lives of future students. But that is not all – you will also have the chance to add your name to our international donor map!
What is the JCU Donor Map?
The JCU Donor Map is a visual representation of our global community. When you donate, send us an email with your photo, location, and a brief statement about how JCU has impacted you. We will place your pin on the map, along with your photo and story, showcasing how the JCU community is shaping the world.
Our goal is to fill the map with as many pins as possible to demonstrate the incredible, global reach of the JCU network. You can also choose to share your email address so fellow donors and alumni can connect with you, fostering stronger connections and expanding our international community.
How to Participate
It is simple to join the JCU Giving Tuesday campaign and be featured on our map:
- Make your donation via our Giving Tuesday donation page.
- Send us an email at [email protected] with:
- Your photo
- Your city and country
- A short statement about how JCU has impacted your life and why you are giving back
- Optional: Let us know if you would like to include your email for alumni networking
