JCU Presents 2017 Continuing Education Closing Ceremony
On Monday, January 8, John Cabot University hosted a ceremony in honor of 65 Continuing Education students who completed their programs at the university.
The guest speakers were Franco Pavoncello, President of John Cabot University, Antonella Salvatore, Director of the Center for Career Services and Continuing Education, Enrica Piermattei of Elidea – Psicologi Associati, Fabio Scognamiglio of YourCFO Academy, and Giulia Silvia Ghia, President of Verderame. Piermattei, Scognamiglio and Ghia represent JCU partner companies for the Continuing Education programs.
President Pavoncello highlighted the considerable growth that JCU experienced in 2017 and announced that the Continuing Education course, “Management and Digitization of Cultural Heritage,” recently won the AIF “Adriano Olivetti” 1st prize for educators, thanks to its innovative approach. Professor Salvatore urged the students to be curious, brave, and creative. She encouraged them to step out of their comfort zones, explore, and create new worlds fearlessly, just like the astronaut Bruce McCandless. McCandless was the first human being to make an untethered free flight in space with only a high-tech spacesuit on.
Enrica Piermattei and Fabio Scognamiglio stressed the importance of commitment and perseverance in order to achieve professional satisfaction. Giulia Silvia Ghia concluded the ceremony by inviting the students to pursue their dreams and aspirations. She told students to always believe in themselves and to be passionate about what they do because passion and hard work can turn dreams into concrete projects.
John Cabot University is getting ready to welcome the new Continuing Education students, who will start in March 2018.
