(How) Will We Vote? Questions and Doubts on November 3rd Election
The Guarini Institute for Public Affairs hosted an online roundtable discussion entitled “(How) Will We Vote? Questions and Doubts About The November 3rd Election,” on June 11, 2020. The discussion was moderated by JCU Political Science professor Michael Driessen and focused on the issues of voting by mail, the possible Democratic Party candidate for the office of Vice President and youth mobilization in the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement.

The roundtable featured Guarini Institute advisers Lucio Martino (former Research Director at Centro Militare di Studi Strategici), Viviana Mazza (Foreign Desk journalist at the Italian daily Corriere della Sera), Eric Terzuolo (former US Diplomat) and Tess Herdman (visiting American University student at JCU in the Spring 2020 semester).
Also participating in the event from Mercy College in NYC were Eduardo Zachary Albrecht (JCU alumnus, Guarini Institute advisor and associate professor and Program Head of the International Relations and Diplomacy Program at Mercy College), and Dr. Sheila Offman Gersh (Director of the Center for Global Engagement). Guarini Institute advisor Amy K. Rosenthal (journalist for Il Foglio and The Times of Israel) was also in attendance.
