Babaiola provides tailored travel solutions for the gay community. As a metasearch business, Babaiola’s services filter the best locations and activities ranked among other affiliate websites, such as Skyscanner, TripAdvisor, and Foursquare.
Nicola Usala, who acts as CEO, Front-end Developer, and Data analyst at Babaiola, led the class through a lecture that highlighted the business plan, visions, and strategies of his company.
Usala urged the importance of social media strategies as an essential framework for any start-up on the market today.
One of the objectives of the JCU Institute for Entrepreneurship is to provide education and training in the fundamentals of best entrepreneurial practices. Every semester the Institute invites 20+ entrepreneurs to the classroom to share their experience in real time. This allows students to network, learn about the entrepreneurial landscape in Italy, get a real sense of how to identify a business opportunity, and gather the resources needed to go from idea to implementation.
