JCU Presents Summer School on Human Rights with UNICRI
John Cabot University and the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI) are pleased to announce the fourth edition of the Summer School on Human Rights.
This year, the session will run from July 6 to 10 and the topic will be Self-Determination, Group Rights and Individual Rights.

During an intensive one-week Summer School, students will be guided in critically examining how the human rights system engages with group rights, individual rights, and the right to self determination. Students will also become familiar with the dilemmas and debates that circulate around these concepts.
The faculty of the Summer School is composed of leading scholars and academics from John Cabot and other universities, representatives of the United Nations system, international human rights bodies, and civil society.
The Summer School also represents an invaluable opportunity to enhance participants’ professional networks. Upon completion of each course, UNICRI and John Cabot University will award a certificate of participation.
