Volunteer in an Italian National Park in May with JCU Grassroots
Do you want to have a truly unforgettable experience this summer? Then volunteer with Grassroots this May in Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, a protected area covering nearly 200 square miles of rugged, pristine land in the Central Apennines.

Participants will assist with a variety of volunteer work such as trail maintenance, beekeeping, scientific research and litter removal. The trip will also include guided educational tours, from a field class on the importance of healthy ecosystems to a very special bear-watching excursion.

The great Henry David Thoreau wrote: “I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.” Live and learn with us this summer in wild Abruzzo!
