Professor Bachrach's Book "Glimpsing Heaven" Sells Over 50,000 Copies
Professor Judith Bachrach’s book Glimpsing Heaven, the Stories and Science of Life After Death, has sold over 50,000 copies since it was published in September 2014.
The National Geographic book about consciousness after death, has received excellent reviews from both Library Journal and The Weekly Standard. Professor Bachrach and several of the subjects of her book were also featured on the popular Dr. Oz television show.
Judy Bachrach is a contributing editor at Vanity Fair magazine. She is a longtime journalist whose early career was spent at The Washington Post, after which she became an on-air television critic for Maryland Public Broadcasting, film critic for WRC-TV, TV critic for NPR’s “All Things Considered” and a political columnist for The Washington Star. She graduated from Chatham College and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. This term she is teaching Introduction to News Reporting and Writing and Investigative Reporting at John Cabot University.
