Professor Federigo Argentieri and Fellow Co-Authors Celebrate Third Edition of Successful Textbook
Federigo Argentieri, Professor of Political Science at JCU, contributed to a roundtable panel at the 46th National Convention of Aseees (Association of Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies), held in San Antonio, Texas last weekend. The panel aimed at discussing current events in the region.
Argentieri’s co-authors, professors Jane Curry of Santa Clara University, Sharon Wolchik of George Washington University, and Ronald Linden of University of Pittsburgh also served on the panel. It was in honor of the imminent publication of the third edition of Central and Eastern European Politics – From Communism to Democracy by Rowman & Littlefield, Boulder, Colorado.
The Convention featured several hundred participants from all over the world and numerous panels selected through a severe and highly competitive process. The Aseees, founded in 1948, is one of the oldest and most prestigious academic institutions of regional studies. Professor Argentieri has been a member since 1989.
