Italy's Top Financial Daily Il Sole 24 Ore Praises Company Led by JCU Alumnus and Trustee Reza Arabnia
Once again, Geico-Taikisha, the company led by JCU Trustee Dr. Ali Reza Arabnia, has proven that investing in research pays off. Specializing in turnkey original coating systems for the vehicle industry, Geico was just chosen by Mercedes Benz for a new plant scheduled to open in Brazil in 2016.
Italy’s prestigious financial daily Il Sole 24 Ore recently ran an article that illustrates Geico’s latest accomplishment and praises the company’s innovative capacities.
Dr. Arabnia has often been cited as a unique example of a CEO guided by ethical principles and a courageous and creative approach to problem-solving in times of crisis.
Born and raised in Teheran, Dr. Arabnia graduated from John Cabot University in 1983 and has been a JCU Trustee since 1998. He has distinguished himself by his great generosity and wise counsel to the Administration throughout the years.
In May of 2014 Dr. Ali Reza Arabnia was honored by Italian President Giorgio Napolitano with the title of Cavaliere del Lavoro, (“Knight of Labor”), the only foreign born individual to receive this prestigious title.
