On Thursday, September 9, John Cabot University hosted Rocìo Manrique, Founder and CEO of Ococo, in the context of Professor Antonella Salvatore's course "Principles of Marketing." Ococo is a company that sells 100% biological products made of coconut water and coconut oil.

Language is Key: Classics Professor Danica Pušić

Born and raised in Novi Sad, Serbia, Classics Professor Danica Pušić teaches Latin and Ancient Greek at JCU. She is a Ph.D. candidate in Linguistics at Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa, and she is also the official translator and interpreter at the Rome Criminal Tribunal (Italian – Serbo-Croatian; Serbo-Croatian – Italian).

Ancient Modernity: Archaeology Professor Jens Koehler

Originally from Bremen, Germany, Professor Jens Koehler holds a Ph.D. in Archaeology from the University of Munich. Since the early 1990s, he worked as senior researcher for the German Archaeological Institute in Rome. Professor Koehler has been teaching in JCU’s Art History Department since 2003.

JCU Student Bebe Vio Wins Gold Medal in Wheelchair Fencing at Tokyo Paralympics

JCU Communications major Bebe Vio won a gold medal in the women’s foil individual category B at the Tokyo Paralympic Games on August 28, 2021. It is her second gold after Rio 2016. Bebe beat Chinese fencer Jingjing Zhou 15-9 in the final to defend her Paralympic wheelchair fencing title.
