The workshop was hosted by the Institute for Entrepreneurship and run by Gabriele Garofalo, who used an interesting approach to engage the audience and teach us a tool that can be applied in a variety of settings.

Last October, JCU participated in Frankenreads, a global celebration of the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. During the month-long event, students, faculty, and staff participated in the live read-a-thon and attended various Frankenstein-themed events. Frankenreads came to an end on Halloween night, with a lecture given by author Fiona Sampson.

On October 19, he spoke at the 7th Peripatetic Conference in Poland, while on October 31, he spoke at the "Interrelations Among Different Forms of Human Communication" workshop in Sweden.
