JCU Welcomes Record Number of Students for Spring 2012

John Cabot University staff, faculty, and students are pleased to welcome new and returning students to Spring 2012!

This term over 1100 students are attending JCU – the largest number in school history! Students come from across the USA, Italy, and countries all over the world.

Here is a message from two of our current students:

Hello, my name is Mary Rideout and I am from Massachusetts! I have been at John Cabot since Fall 2009 and I am studying Marketing. My friend Gianmarco Fanciulli, who is from Rome, is studying business administration and he has also been here since Fall 2009.

We are two of your 50 student orientation leaders and we are preparing for your arrival! We will pick you up at the airport, take you to your housing, introduce you to our friends and tour the campus.

Here are just a few of the events that the JCU Student Life staff has planned to help you become acquainted with both the University and the Eternal City:

• Meet and Greet Events to help you get to know your fellow students
• Navigation 101: In this interactive session, students explore Rome while learning safety tips and much more through an exciting photo treasure hunt.
• Free Walking and Bus Tours of Rome

On behalf of the JCU student body, we would like to welcome you!

Class of 2013

In order to enhance students’ experience, the Student Life staff has prepared a wide variety of activities that will take place throughout the term. These include Italian cooking classes, discounted tickets to the opera and other performances in Rome, trips, and guided excursions to points of interest outside of the city.
