JCU Welcomes New and Returning Students to Fall 2012!
The John Cabot University faculty, staff, and student body are pleased to welcome new and returning degree-seeking and study abroad students!
Students from across the USA, Italy, and many countries around the world, were welcomed at Fiumicino Airport by JCU Staff and Student Orientation Leaders. After being transferred to JCU, students received housing assignments and were accompanied to their accommodations.
Orientation Leaders are an enthusiastic group of degree-seeking students selected from our multicultural student body hailing from 50 different countries.
During the Orientation period students became acquainted with the University and the Eternal City, and received an introduction to Italian culture.
Students also got a chance to mingle with fellow classmates at special “Meet and Greet” events as well as received advice on how to enjoy the city while staying safe.
In order to enhance students’ experience, the Office of Student Life has prepared a wide variety of activities including Italian cooking classes, discounted tickets to the opera and other performances in Rome, and guided excursions to points of interest outside of the city.
JCU Staff and Orientation Leaders are happy to answer students’ questions and provide information about the University and the city of Rome.
