John Cabot University to Inaugurate Institute for Entrepreneurship
John Cabot University is pleased to announce the inauguration of the JCU Institute for Entrepreneurship, which will take place on Monday, November 26th at 6.00pm in the Aula Magna Regina, John Cabot University, Via della Lungara 233.
The mission of the Institute, which was established in 2011, is “to help members of the JCU community bring down the barriers to entrepreneurship, through education, training, networking and mentoring,” and it has been designed primarily for all current and former JCU students with an entrepreneurial streak, regardless of their majors.
Says Institute Director Prof. Silvia Pulino, “The main purpose of the Institute is to build a lively, collaborative and inclusive community of ‘real people with real ideas,’ as our tag line says, and many faculty members at JCU have already been active participants in this effort. So the Inauguration Ceremony will be a celebration of what has been accomplished so far, and a moment to share our plans for the future.”
The Ceremony will feature:
An introduction of the Institute’s philosophy, achievements, and future plans by JCU President Franco Pavoncello;
The announcement of the winner of the IFE Logo Competition, conducted within Prof. Sabrina Schmidt’s Graphic Design courses;
Guest Speaker, Dr. Lupo Rattazzi, founder and President of Air Europe, one of the first low cost carriers in Italy, and now a leading figure in the Italian airline industry.
Light refreshments will be served.
