Valentina Lamorgese, an Italian graduating senior in International Affairs, will be working with Mifai Mama, a small NGO that specializes in assisting children with disabilities: “This experience is going to be fantastic because it will further my long-term interests in non-profit organizations and also because it will expose me to a world that is so different from my own.”

Carlo Sammarco, a junior in Business Administration, also from Italy, is looking forward to an internship with a Chinese company where he will apply his understanding of business in a completely new setting: “I consider this opportunity to be truly exceptional: it will teach me how business is conducted in Shanghai, one of the most important financial centers of the world, and how to adapt to a new environment, which I believe is a key skill to succeeding in today’s world.”

JCU’s Career Services Center prepares students for employment opportunities through workshops, lectures, resume and interview preparation, and one-on-one meetings with companies. It also makes available competitive internships with over 150 organizations and companies every semester.
