The John Cabot University community is pleased to welcome Summer Session I students.
We try our best to make your study abroad experience a smooth one, so we encourage you to watch our orientation video.! It shows how JCU ensures that you have an easy transition into Rome and JCU life from the time you step off the plane!
Students, who hail from all across the USA and from various countries around the world, are being welcomed at the Hilton Hotel at Fiumicino Airport by JCU staff and Orientation Leaders. After receiving their housing assignments, students will be accompanied directly to their accommodations.
During the two-day Orientation period, students will participate in sessions designed to acquaint them with the University and the Eternal City, as well as provide an introduction to Italian culture.
In order to enhance students’ summer session experience, the Office of Student Services has prepared a wide variety of activities including Italian cooking classes, discounted tickets to the opera and other performances in Rome, and guided excursions to points of interest outside of the city such as the city of Florence. Students will also be able to enjoy a variety of exercise classes at the Fitness Center located in the Gianicolo Residence.
JCU staff and Orientation Leaders are happy to answer students’ questions and provide information about the University and the city of Rome.
