Carla Wiegers is John Cabot University’s Dean of Students. She holds a B.A. in Performance Art and an M.A. in Political Science. Carla worked as Residence Director at St. John's University in Rome for 8 years, before obtaining a position at JCU.

JCU hosted the biannual Health and Wellness Week, a series of events that focused on stress management, sex education, mental health, mindfulness, and spiritual wellbeing on February 25-March 1. The week consisted in an event dedicated to stress management, “Stress Less”, a “mindful meditation and compassion” class, a Sex Education talk, an event on mental health first aid, a yoga class, two mindfulness sessions, a self-defense workshop, and a meditation session in Villa Ada.
