Students are being welcomed at the Hilton Airport Hotel by JCU staff, Orientation Leaders and Skippers. After receiving their housing assignments, students are accompanied to their accommodations.
During the five-day Orientation, students participate in sessions designed to acquaint them with the University and the Eternal City. During Navigation 101, Skippers take groups of students on a small tour of Rome. On this tour, students will see and learn a lot, including: how to buy a metro/bus ticket, find their closest pharmacy and supermarket and discover the quickest route to Rome’s main train station, Termini.
In order to enhance students’ Spring semester experience, the Office of Student Services has prepared a wide variety of activities including Italian cooking classes, tours in Rome, and weekend trips to Tuscany and Campania! Students will also be able to enjoy a variety of exercise classes at the Fitness Center located in the Gianicolo Residence.
JCU staff and Orientation Leaders and Skippers are looking forward to meeting everyone!
