JCU Institute for Entrepreneurship Welcomes Laura Carpintieri, Co-Founder of Checkmoov

On Monday, April 11th, the JCU Institute for Entrepreneurship, in collaboration with Professor Pietro Paganini‘s New Product Management (MKT 304) class, welcomed Laura Carpintieri of Checkmoov for a guest lecture.

As the students of MKT 304 investigate the intricate process of new product management, understanding service development and management is essential. Carpintieri, who presented her co-founded company Checkmoov, offered great insights into her experience with strategic planning, market research, and scenario analysis.

CheckMoov allows for users to find and reserve sporting facilities. Through personal accounts, users can geo-localize the closest sport center with their desired activity and therefore discover new facilities.

Carpintieri presented an effective case study from her own experience working to realize and develop Checkmoov. To conclude her lecture, she addressed a variety of questions from the audience.
